History

Håkan Johansson is the owner and founder of Composult Composite Consulting AB. Håkan graduated as a Master of Science in 2001. The education was concentraded upon light weight construction (composite and sandwich technique) Polymer technique (polymer mechanics and production techniques), Structural design and basic Ship construction.
After the graduation, Håkan was employed as an calculation- and production developement engineer at DIAB AB (Laholm, SWE). DIAB AB produce and sell core material for sandwich applications. In 2004, Håkan got the chance to move back to Stockholm when he was employed by Fagerdala Thiger Marine Systems AB (FTMS). At FTMS Håkan was responsible for the development and start up of the company's composite- and sandwich department. FTMS AB develop new sandwich systems for ships and boats. In the autumn of 2005 Håkan founded the company Composult Composite Consulting AB.

Ever since I built my first boat when I was 13, I've had an interest for composites. I was fascinated by the fact that it was so easy to create a robust and light structure. Since I'm very fond of boats, I came in contact with composites all the time. This interest resulted in several summerjobs at shipyards and marinas, and later on an education. I spend most of my spare time in the archipelago, where boats play a central part. This inspires me to develop my own boats. I'm also very intrested in sports and music. This, together with my fascination for composites, has led to the development of my home made alpineskiis, kajaks and instrument. It's a true pleasure to have my big intrest for a job!
